Pet Portraits
What makes a good photo?
Use a sharp, well-lit photo taken straight on, with the ears, head, neck and chest visible. Natural light and an unfiltered image help us capture your pet’s true colors.
Avoid blurry pictures, strong filters and photos taken from above. Read our photo tips.
Can I include more than one pet?
Yes. Choose a portrait for two, three or four pets and upload one clear photo for each. Your pets do not need to appear in the same original photo.
Which animals can you illustrate?
Dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits and other animal companions are welcome. Each portrait starts with the photo you provide.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email support@dearpawstudio.com within 30 minutes of ordering. After that, work may already have started and changes or cancellation are at our discretion.
Can I preview my portrait before it is printed?
An artwork preview is available as a $10 add-on on eligible illustrated portraits. Select it while customizing your order. Standard orders do not include a proof.
Returns & Order Changes
Can I return a personalized item?
Personalized items are final sale. If there is an issue with the finished piece, email support@dearpawstudio.com so we can help.
What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Please email your order number and clear photos within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement for damage, incorrect items, sizes or printing errors.
Can I change my photo or delivery address?
Contact us within 30 minutes of ordering. After that, changes are at our discretion because work may already have started. Photos already submitted cannot be swapped.
Shipping
How much does shipping cost?
U.S. standard shipping is $10, or free when the total after discounts reaches $100. International standard shipping is $10 per order; checkout shows the amount in your selected currency.
When should I expect my order?
U.S. orders generally arrive within 2–3 weeks, or up to 4 weeks during peak holiday periods. For the UK, Canada, Australia and Europe, allow 3–4 weeks, or up to 5 weeks during peak periods. Other worldwide destinations can take longer. Hand-painted oil portraits follow their own making schedule.
Will everything arrive together?
Some products may ship separately as they are completed. You will receive the tracking information available for each shipment.
What does Skip the Line do?
This optional service prioritizes artwork creation. It does not make the courier’s shipping or transit time faster.
